I-84 Eastbound and Westbound is normally 65 mph. However, between the two eastbound exits stated above, the speed limit is lowered to 55 mph with signs strenuating to follow the reduced speed limit for unknown reasons. Law enforcement sit in a mesh of trees in an area that sneaks up on the motorist because it can’t be seen by motorists until they are actually passing it.
