WSP motorcycles have been running a LIDAR trap just west of the SR900 overpass every day this last week during most of the daylight hours. There are 5 or 6 motorcycles mainly concentrating on traffic in the left lanes of both directions of travel. Eastbound traffic is targeted from the U-turn area as you come down the hill after the Lakemont Way exit. Westbound traffic is targeted from underneath the SR900 overpass. (This is supposedly part of the "seatbelt emphasis" patrolling, but either they’ve developed Lidar guns that detect whether your belt is fastened and all the people going more than 65 have their belt off, or its all really about ticket emphasis because the WSP wasn’t issuing enough. The motorcycles are all based out of the Eastgate WSP station.)
