Most motorists do not realize that the speed limit drops from 70 mph to 60 mph. Motorists travel between 65 and 75 miles per hour. The State Patrol loves this area.

Well since the speed limit changes from 70 to 60 about a mile west of the Maple Street exit what do you expect? The change is way back at the top of the hill.
