I-90 Eastbound @ Mercer Island Exit
Often I see a Trooper parked on the left side of the Express Lanes below the Mercer Island Exit. The reason is two-fold : To catch HOV violaters and to catch speeders. I believe the speed limit is 60 MPH but but it is quite easy to exceed that as I did over the Memorial Day long weekend. I got a ticket for going 72. Radar detectors probably help in this area as there is not much area to run Laser.
