I-95 north
Sherriff is a very rude and defiant person, he got me for 70 in a 65 speed zone. I asked to see radar and he said “come back from Penna. and I will show it to you.” He said “pay the ticket or take a day off from work and fight it. You will lose anyway.” One week later I got letters from the lawyers from Emporia to come on down and we will represent you. What a rip off! Be careful on I-95. they love out of state drivers.

Agree, Emporia is a speed trap, and prays on out of state drivers. "Said I was doing 82 in 70 zone of
I 95. Wrote me a ticket for Reckless Driving. Extra high fine, $211.00. So I paid that and went bak to Florida thinking that was that. No way, Emporia notified Florida, my Insurance Company and the national Bad boy Listing.
My Insurance is ups $103 a month, for 3 years = $3,672.00 !!
No chance for a Drivers ed course to clear the Reckless Driving Coviction.

Florida required me to attend a Driver Ed course that would eradicate the conviction, preclude Ins. Company from increasing my premium.
Except the ticked was in Virginia, so it does not count !
What a pathetic city and county, praying on I 95 drivers, and screwing them with their system of Reckless Driving Convictions for any speeding citation.
They should be ashamed , but they have no conscious.
Also on I 95 south about 2 mi before Emporia in center median - on a quiet non-holiday Sunday morning
