Gore point/ Lane change sting. When traffic bogs down the exit lane for Golden Valley keeps moving. Cars hold right and then crash across the gore point back into traffic cutting people off. CHP loves to line up cars and ticket them. Part 2: the smart thing is to exit Golden Valley and re-enter, but the "go straight" lane backs up too. Cars go to the left-only lane and go straight. There is usually a second vehicle waiting for these people and lining them up giving tickets on the onramp.
