TXDOT has finished most of the expressway except for some ramp work for 6th St and a couple of minor projects, the speeds are posted at 45 MPH and a double fine zone. Very easy to do 70-75 on this road, but don’t! DPS and City police will tag you. Southbound side is the worst. Start slowing down as you pass Old Iowa Park rd, and do not speed up until you come off the elevated just before the 281/287 split towards Ft Worth. Especially dangerous to folks with Oklahoma plates and those who are coming in from the HE Bailey Turnpike (Speed limit is 75 on this road) After driving 75 for a couple of hours, its very hard to slow down to such a stupid speed
