People speeding up prior to the posted 60 mph speed limit sign is not a trap. Just because people decide to accelerate from 55 to 60 early still means your speeding.
Remember your vehicle must be even with, or passing, a speed limit sign to be able to accelerate to a greater speed. Just like failure to reduce speed to the posted limit prior to entering the new zone is still speeding.
