There is a Driveway on the West Side of IL 83 just north of the light for Gilmer Road. The driveway goes up a small hill where there are some Pole Barns, and the Police will sit up there running radar north bound traffic (Haven’t seen south bound pulled over yet). It was a big mystery for the longest time where they ran radar from, since there are very few driveway, side roads, etc… that would provide a good spot. Haven’t been pulled over yet, but witnessed enough people who have. I drive the road constantly.
