Radar usually faces east catching traffic coming from the Chatham Head Intersection traveling towards Moncton, New Brunswick. On occasion the radar is reversed, facing west.

There is a very valid reason for the speed trap at that location - it happens to be a short distance from the nearby school and many of the kids there have to cross Nelson St (which is also NB Highway # 126). The speed limit is 60 km/hr there but just before and after it is 80 km/hr and too few motorists have been slowing down. If you don't care about endangering kids - you deserve the ticket! (I like speed too, but there ARE places where slowing down is essential!)
