The City of Clovis announced today that it is installing 15 "rat box" red light ticketing devices. The box doesn’t take your picture, it flashes a red light to a patrol car that is hidden nearby but positioned to watch the intersection. If the speed sensor blinks red, you will find a cop on your butt. They claim its to cut back on red light running and plan intensive enforcement.
