Not really a “speed trap”…motor officer sits either IN the apparatus bay, next to the fire engine (when the door is up), or on the driveway, adjacent to the building. The targets are almost always idiots pulling onto the fire station apron to make a u-turn. DO NOT use the apron for your u-turn. The fine is in the neighborhood of $500.00. The area directly in front of the fire station is labeled “KEEP CLEAR”. Expensive tickets will be yours if you block the driveway.
