Intersection of HWY 53 and Rideout Rd aka 255
There were three of them (HSV City Police) at the entrance to the parking lot for the Shell gas station at this intersection pulling people over left and right, using LASER. They were there weekday mornings from 7-8. Speed limit on this road at this particular portion is 55 and goes to 45 after crossing over HIW 53. Watch ’em folks – they need that revenue to pay for the jail that was supposed to cost 1/4 the amount several years back.

Just because they are enforcing the speed limits doesn't make it a speed trap. A 10 mph drop surely isn't out of line. Obey the speed limits!
