Intersection of Joliet road and Wolf road
This intersection can harbor a police cruiser in three different locations. Traveling east on Joliet after exiting I-55, there’s usually a cop below the underpass or in a parking lot tucked behind it. Speed limit drops from 55 to 40 in a relatively short distance. Continuing eastbound, there’s sometimes a cop parked in the congressional church parking lot catching speeders in either direction. Just south of the intersection by the Flagg creek golf course entrance, there’s a cruiser parked in the Indian head plaza parking lot, catching speeders coming down either direction on wolf. Be cautious northbound, limit drops from 40 to 35 without warning. IMPORTANT: If you see a black Dodge Charger with a license plate of either 725 or 776, this is an UNDERCOVER POLICE VEHICLE. Watch for these modified cruisers and adjust speed accordingly.
