Interstate 10

Blythe, CaliforniaFeb 17, 20061 Comments

The wide open desert lulls you into a false sense of security. Upon approaching the border, the CHP has an excellent "trap". Blacked out on the side of the interstate around any curve in the road with rear facing radar. Absolutely no time to react. Slow down when approaching the Arizona border. Highway Patrol is all over that area!

Comments:
I was pulled over twice at the same spot 2 weeks in a row. This is Definitely a speed trap, but justifiably so. Drivers start to speed when approaching Blythe Eastbound I-10. The speed trap is 22-23 miles east of Blythe East I-10. Also watch out for the patrol on both sides of the border when approaching the stateline.
