On I-10 West at Zaragosa there is a hidden shoulder spot on the left as you enter the overpass where local PD likes to trap motorists. On I-10 East past Zaragosa Officers will often enter I-10 through the rocks and unpaved shoulder of the Gateway to come up behind motorists. While OK for them, trying doing that with you car and see what kind of ticket you’ll get!

Also watch out on I-10 through the city. Local PD has “unmarked”” freeway cops. They have no lightbars and scant markings on the sides. A burgandy Mustang and grey Impalla looking vehicles are common. Cases of people getting robbed by police impersonators make me wonder if unmarked vehicle cops is legal. “
