Interstate 10 near Exit Number 17

Pensacola, FloridaAug 15, 20070 Comments

Heading East bound on I-10 leaving Pensacola and heading towards Milton. There is an overpass that is B4 the Highway 90 exit. The road dips down at this overpass and you can not see at the bottom of it. The cops like to sit under that bridge and catch people as it is a 40-45 mph limit, I believe, but everyone is usually doing at least 60. I have a radar detector and because of the angle of the road it doesn’t pick them up till I’m almost right on them.

Another place is right B4 you exit off I-110 onto I-10. Almost everyday on my way home from work I see someone pulled over in that general area. They have so many Speed readers on I-110 that tell you what the speed limit is and what speed you are doing, that they hide in between them so that you can’t tell the difference between the reader and their radar gun. My detector goes crazy all through I-110, so I just go with the flow of traffic. Again 60 in a 45mph zone.
