Sorrento cop sits on the right side of the I-10 going westbound as you go over the overpass at Exit 184. This is the Sorrento/Donaldsonville exit. Once you see him, it’s too late. He’s right at the bottom of the overpass, sometimes he may sit in the merge lane for the traffic that is getting onto the I-10 at that intersection. The cop car is very dark so it makes it even harder to see. He’s usually there between 3am and 6am. He catches the late night people or workers as I work late. Also, State troopers sometimes sit in the medium or on the shoulder at the same intersection but they watch the cars going eastbound. They’re usually out there around rush hour.
