Interstate 12 near Exit Number 19

Parish police are on top of the Satsuma overpass shooting radar toward oncoming east bound traffic. Once caught the policeman on top radios to the two motorcycle police waiting a little further down.

Comments:
I live in Livingston & often get off at the Satsuma exit. I never noticed this although the police cars parked near/under over-passes is 'normal' here. I guess if you follow the speed limit, you don't have to worry about it. People in LA FLY down the interstate! Not unusual to see people going 85-90 in a 60. I am NOT exaggerating. And the tailgating is awful! Cars will literally ride about 6 feet from your back bumper, going 85 m.p.h., if you don't get out of their way. Makes me want to slam on my brakes! The police could make LA a lot of $, citing people for tailgating. But for some strange reason, they don't. Why is everyone in such a stinkin' hurry, just to get where you're going 5 minutes earlier? Not worth a life. Drive safe people and stay off my rear!
