DPS Officer patrols the area heavily this county is just before you get Abilene. Be very Careful if you are out of State. Officer told me when I said I wasn’t speeding “Too bad you can’t fight it anyways””. Judge only accepts guilty and nolo contendere for out of state tickets. “

My son once got a speeding ticket here. Claimed speed at 101 mph. He was the passenger, NOT the driver. Driver also got a ticket. We took it out of the JP office to the county court and had to appear 3 times, and still got a postponement. Finally did the plea bargain thing. $285 fine cost me $1500 for the lawyer and time away from work etc. It was just for the principle of the thing, but it's like going to court with Boss Hogg on Dukes of Hazard...

I bought a pre-owned car 5 days prior. The typical idea of a racer is a red car with loud pipes which is what i own. I was on I-20 Heading West with out of state tags. I was driving 75mph, by law it allows 5 up and 5 down for safety reasons, it is a 70mph area. I got a ticket saying i was doing 80mph. Told him that i was not speeding and that I am military. The officer gave me a dirty look, said tough you are paying the ticket. Asked him how when i pay everything in cash and i cannot be in town due to me returning to my job. Said pay it online with a credit card. Not everyone in this world has one. I have to say no respect at all.
