Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 479-636
I-20 is heavily patrolled from the eastern outskirts of Dallas all the way to the Louisiana state line (and even into Louisiana, for that matter). Patrol is done mainly by State Troopers but I have seen county units as well, especially in Dallas, Kaufman, and Van Zandt counties. Speed limit is OK, 70 day/65 night; I usually go through at 4-5 over with no problems, though I have Texas plates which may help.
