Interstate 285 East-bound right before Glenridge Drive exit

Sandy Springs, GeorgiaMay 26, 20101 Comments

Traffic backs up in the morning just short of the exit, so many people wanting to get off there will drive in the emergency lane a hundred yards or so instead of waiting it out. A unit is right there to greet them when they do. I sat in Sandy Springs traffic court with a friend one day for a few hours and they must have had 30 people who had been ticketed for that. Fine: $250

The emergency lane is not an "I'm in a hurry to exit" lane. If you get ticketed - GOOD !! Maybe the $250.00 will deter from doing this again ..
