Traveling north on I-95 to I-295 towards the Delaware Memorial Bridge you will notice the speed limit drops to 50MPH on this 4-lane highway as you approach the bridge. The Delaware River and Bay Authority have their own police force of about 20 patrol cars (You can view them in the center median just before going over the bridge). Very often during any time of the day, these patrols will utilize the median crossings (up to a mile in advance of the bridge) to run radar. My advice is to be aware of your speed once you notice the "Amber Alert" signs approaching the bridge. I would not recommend doing more than 60MPH in this 50MPH zone.
