Interstate 30 near State Highway 66

Fate, TexasMay 29, 20071 Comments

Enforcement is constant by highway patrol, sheriffs, constables, etc, there are more then seven locations that traffic enforcement officers use to run speed traps in this small town which covers less than two square miles. City court is only interested in dollars, traffic fine amounts are really high. (Note-City Court/Hall is the busiest business on main street, main street is one block long.) This town is located in the smallest county in the state of Texas, which needs revenue badly for schools, county has a number of new schools being built due to growth. If there was ever a town which could lay claim to the top speed trap in the USA for 2007 this is it. “Beware”””

Comments:
I came from Orange County, CA, and now live in Fate, TX. This is a wonderful city in a fabulous county! I wouldn't call the officers sitting at the side of the road in plain sight "speed traps". Besides, if you're not speeding, you shouldn't get a speeding ticket.
