Also not unusual to see ambulances running in that area!! There have been MANY wrecks, that's why it is patrolled heavily. Would you rather have a ticket or get run over by an 18-wheeler??
Southbound in that area abruptly turns from four lane into two lanes. It requires vigilance and courtesy to assist those who get "caught" in the former to merge into the latter. Slowdown is necessary.
