In Arkansas you don't have to request a court date,it is on the ticket . The officer also verbally tells you when the court date is and instructs you to either appear in court on that date if you wish to contest the citation, or to pay the citation before the date of your court appearance. They also provide a phone # to call to find out how much the ticket is and where to send the payment to.
