Interstate 40 East near Mile Marker 398
Just past exit 398 on 40 east (Strawberry plains) there is a dirt divide that is used frequently by THP and Knoxville City. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Knox County officer there. The speed was recently changed from 70 to 60. this 3 lane that is well traveld by trucks and tourists to Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Most are used to the Old 70 that it hard to Not maintain the new 60 posted at the Holston River bridge. This New limit was "Designed To Help Eliminate" smog and pollution in the Smoky Mountains. You figure that one out………..
