Interstate 5 near Exit Number 212
On Southbound I-5, just North of the Stanwood exit there is a permanent WSP crossover lane. There are often multiple car traps set up. The location is such that you don’t see the cars until you’re almost on top of them. Extra warning: WSP motorcyle cops always work in teams in this area. If you see one, there’s another one close by.

Not only do they sit in the median for 1-5 traffic, if you are a local resident and use rose rd, the frontage rd to the east, you will get buzzed from the freeway and met by them where rose hits stanwood bryant rd.They love this because the limit is 35 and most people do 50+, so its a better ticket for the state.
