Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 79
The Ohio Highway Patrol engages in heavy enforcement of the 65 mph (55 mph for trucks) speed limit on I-70 in Madison County. These troopers are based in nearby West Jefferson so it is an easy matter for them to patrol I-70. Be careful if you choose to use US 40 as an alternate around this area; while they do not patrol it as heavily as I-70, they do keep an eye on it!
