Random VASCAR speed enforcement detail on Northbound on I-75. After passing under a flyover (that brings I-275 traffic into I-75) you pass 2 while lines painted across all the lanes approximately 500 feet apart. An FHP officer (usually with chaser units) sits on the flyover with an excellent view of the cars passing thru this ‘speed zone’. His VASCAR unit determines the time it takes to travel through the ‘zone’ and the speeding vehicle is chased down and issued a ticket.
