There is a speed trap of speed limit signs entering Battle Mountain, Nevada from the south on Hwy 305. The signs are placed so close together warning you of limits of 55, then 45, then 35, then 25 that I had to keep my foot continually on the brakes to satisfy the limit. The police car came from "nowhere" and the officer claimed that I was entering a 25 mph zone at speed of 45. Impossible! I knew when first entering the outskirts of town something was wrong. My family will never return to BM!
