Interstate 80 at mile marker 175

North Platte, NebraskaJun 01, 20002 Comments

A Nebraska State Patrol trooper positions himself in the dark just west of North Platte. It is believed he has a radar detector-detector to locate receivers in commercial vehicles. The scale house at North Platte also have radar detector-detectors so turn yours off before entering he coup. Note: For our commercial drivers. Work is being done on the West bound scale which has been out of the ground for over two years. It just might open up soon!

Comments:
Its illegal to have radar detectors in commercial vehicles anyways. And as someone who has inside knowledge, you dont need "radar detectors-detectors", which I have never heard of, to know who does and doesnt have them.

This comment is moot. If there's a scale ... there's at least one (and usually more than one) State Trooper. In Nebraska, Carrier Enforcers are State Troopers and not to be denied. They have the same certification and can get you for whatever violation you are violating ... and more ... because they are certified law enforcement officers. 10-4?
