Interstate 90 (West) near New York 400 Exit and U.S. Hwy. 219 Exit.
Not sure where they sit but I see cars pulled over by troopers at this location Very often. Even during the evenings and nights.

Yes, I was ticketed here at 9:30 pm on a Thursday. Going 70 in a 55 but I thought I was safe because a car had flown past me doing at least 90. They must have exited onto the 219. I asked the trooper, "What about THAT one?" He of course only saw me :( so don't count on feeling safe speeding behind someone going even faster.
They have a 55 MPH right after the toll for the NY Thruway on I 90. After traveling for hours at 65 MPH, long distance travelers are ripe for ticketing because they are use to the higher limit and there is no apparent reason for the lower 55 MPH limit. I was also clocked on a downhill trajectory. This is definitely a money maker for the town of West Seneca and the state police are complicit. Also note if you pay a fine online they charge you $23 for the privilege! What a ripoff.
