Interstate 93 south near Just Before the City Proper

Concord, New HampshireJul 19, 20062 Comments

SOUTHBOUND interstate 93. Just outside the northern city limits of Concord, the spped limit drops from 65 to 55 MPH. The State Police sit on a turn around in the median strip about 100ft past the sign. Since morotists will naturally be looking to the left at the cruiser, they won’t notice the 55 MPH sign on the right and what might have been a 5mph infraction then becomes a 15 MPH infraction and ticket worthy. I believe this is by design. As this is the main route down from the Lakes region, enforcement is stepped up on holiday weekends,Out-of-state motorists are more at risk

Comments:
I communt every day on this route and cops never ticket drivers going 70 mph, even when it drops to 55. Over 70 you get what you deserve

Below 75 , if you slow down or are slowing down, they will leave you alone. Above 75, well you would have received the ticket anyway.
