Interstate 94 near Zeeb Road

Ann Arbor, MichiganJun 11, 20071 Comments

Between the merge of I-94 and US-23 and Zeeb Rd, on I-94, state troopers can be seen almost daily right before the Zeeb Rd. exit ramp. Traffic tends to flow 70-75 mph due to the highways merging, but the officer usually won’t stop anyone doing less than 76mph. Don’t take my word on that, however. He was my first and only ticket, and I’m fairly sure he was mistaken about my speed, then lowered the speed on the ticket to make him look good and deter me from fighting the ticket.

Comments:
I think this is supposed to be I-94 and M-14 to the Zeeb exit. I drive it every morning. It's easy to speed through this section since you've probably been stuck behind a lumbering semi who slammed himself into the left lane at State and hasn't budged since. The extra lane is like being shot out of a cannon.
