Interstate 95 between Kingsland and Woodbine

Kingsland, GeorgiaMar 27, 20101 Comments

I’ve lived in Southeast Coastal Georgia for several years. Both the sheriff department and state police have daily speed traps set up in the woods between the North and South traveling lanes usually between Exit 3 in Kingsland and the Woodbine Exit. Some days the Kingsland city police set up radar just off the bridge from Florida near Georgia Exit 1 checking the speed of those traveling North out of Florida into Georgia.

Be on notice: The police in Camden County on Georgia’s rural coast will arrest people over the least infraction. The county is covered up with police. A fender-bender will quickly draw 2, 3 or 4 patrol cars in the Kingsland-St.Marys area. Do not go even 5 miles per hour over the speed limit while in Camden County. Keep an eye on the rear view mirrors for cops looking to make arrests to bring revenue in to pay their wages.

Comments:
You are so full of it. As a unspoken rule, the local cops don't right locals. Most of their ticket writing is to those traveling throught he area with non local tags.
