Interstate 95 near Exit Number 5
Although the speed limit is 70 often the prevailing traffic is much higher. They sit in the wooded median right at the South Carolina welcome center. They ticket in both directions and often have several cruisers lined up. They will pull over whole packs of cars. Also drive unmarked SUV’s usually black.

On all SC Interstate Highways, run at 77 or below and you will be okay, 78 and above and you risk a ticket. I run at 77 and I drove 65-70 miles to Columbia every day for 10 years w/o a ticket. My radar detector said I was clocked by as many unmarked cars as marked.
Most cops in that area let you run right up to 80 mph. Some of Highway Patrol let you go as high as 85 before they stop you depending on time of day and traffic conditions.
