Interstate I-80 near Mile Marker 18.5
State police regularly sit facing West catching people going East bound coming over the hill and a slight curve to the right. Typically marked state police, unmarked white or black cars sit in the median here – there is also a blue unmarked Chevy Tahoe and a red unmarked Chevy Avalanche that run radar from the 19 mile marker (Geneseo exit) West to the I-80/I-280/I-74 interchange.

In addition to watching very closely for speeders these cats are also looking for Any kinds of "Violations" They will pull you over for following too closely, taillight/headlights being out and so on. Huge bust for drugs all the time here. Folks speeding, tailight or headlight out & hauling pounds of drugs of one sort or another (go figure). Most of this seems to be the local Geneseo law enforcement as much as State Troopers.
