The trooper likes to hunt on the west-bound lanes of I 94, between the two exits for Alexandria. As you approach the easternmost exit to Alexandria from the east he is on the far side of the overpass sitting on the on-ramp. No way you can see him. You pass under the overpass and directly into his radar! Your radar detector will go off about the same time his lights go on. After he writes you up he gets off at the 2nd exit for Alexandria, drives back to "his" exit, and gets into position for the next little addition to the state treasury general fund.
