Moanalua Freeway (H201) Ewa bound as you pass the Ala Kupuna Street overpass coming down from Red Hill, one or two HPD solo bikes are usually parked on the left shoulder of the freeway before you cross the H3 and head towards the Kahuapaani Street (Halawa Heightd Road) overpass. They can be spotted there at around 7:30 p.m., late night, and early morning hours on any given day of the week. HPD figures that most drivers will be on the look out for them on the right shoulder of the freeway after you cross the H3, so they decide to fool you by parking on the left shoulder and before you cross the H3. Two HPD solo bikes have been spotted on the left shoulder of this area at around 1:15 a.m. on 09-01-2008 and on previous ocassions. Speed limit in this area is 50 mph but you can easily go past that since you are coming downhill on the freeway from Red Hill. Watch your speed as you pass the Ala Kupuna Street (top of Red Hill) overpass heading ewa bound and coming downhill approaching H3.
