Going North from the I-5 towards East Chapman Ave Motor Patrols will sit in service road on right to get cars coming down the hill after passing the entering City of Orange sign.

My brother lives out near Modjeska Canyon, I was leaving his house and was caught by an Orange Motorcycle Police Officer by radar, approx. 1 year ago. They park on the service road as you approach Jamboree while driving West on Santiago road. My ticket was over $700.00 after paying for traffic school. My brother called me this morning as he was leaving his house and said he saw 2 motorcycle policeman with 2 cars pulled over as he was passing by that same area, then on his way home he saw another one. I was trying to calculate the income that they bring in for the state and just in this one area it must be over 700,000.00 a month, (500.00 x 50 tickets a day x 30 days a month = 750,000.00). With this aggressive police work spread out around the state, I do not see how the state legislattures can spend that much. Let's hire more police officers and let them sit at speed traps to balance our state budget (just kidding).
