If you work at Selfridge Air Base, watch out. There are 2, yes, 2 police organizations on Selfridge. The worst is the Air Force cops. They will ticket with no remorse. The tickets are federal ones, so it is more of a fine for you to pay. Very seldom do I hear of them cutting warnings. Just deal with the ridiculous speed limits. Its better than forking over $100!

The second army agency is gone and the 127th wing sf has been charged with law enforcement. From 2001 to november of 2009 this agency has operated in complete violation of AFR and USC with regards to " Traffic enforcement on a military reservation". It issued approximately 500 or better US Federal Court violations (133 US Court) knowing its equipment could not support a paced speed or moving radar violation. It had not certified its equipment since prior to 2001 and training and certification of operators was absent. In 2009 the US Attorney, the Chief Judge and the Base Commander received a formal complaint with supporting documentation from the SF unit itself. The FOIA requests for internal documents are available and they support the above comment. The agency knew it was in violation and was warned in january of 2009 with a final investigation is november of 2009. FOIA records are available. Saberback357@comcast.net
