I live about a block off of south Jefferson st. and they pull southbound cars onto our st, all the time to give them tickets. I have seen as many as 3 cars at the sametime within 2.5 blocks hiding in parking lots, giving tickets as often as 3-4 nights and late afternoons a week. Anoyher spot is on Forest St. between Clinton and hwy.31 near the Athens Middle school and the football field just behind it. with a small JC's park with rides just across the st. they are checking speeds during school pickup times and also on fri, sat evenings whe the JC's are running the park. Normally 30mph but drops to 20 when this goes on. (late spring,summer, early fall) many tickets given here year round.
