Just got a ticket. Officer admitted that they sit at this intersection to catch speeding and running Stop sign.

Just wanted to add I was not speeding and I do not condone speeding or running stop sign. I like to call these stop signs "Vanity Stops" because they are in places in rich neighborhoods to assure residents easy access. I really didn't see it till it was to late and I tried to stop but to late. I couldn't see any other reason for the stop except as a trap or as I said to benefit the residents.
