Between Jesse Jewell Pkwy. and Pearl Nix Pkwy. This short section is a Gainesville PD favorite. It has a downhill curve going westbound that makes it very hard to maintain 35 mph. There are no driveways on ethier side of the street to slow traffic.

Yes, I whole heartedly agree this is a speed trap. The Gainseville Police use black and whites along with solid black cars which are hard to see in the daytime and not at all at night. The speed limit here going east drops from 45 to 35 with the 35 mile an hr. sign set back off the road next to a cement wall and an power pole in front. The area that is trapped has no sidewalks, no drive ways, and no housses on the side. No reason except to get revenue for tickets given in this area. I was in Law Enforcement for 34yrs and have never seen anything this devious. Gainseville Police hide and watch. I would not recommend anyone spend any money in this town.
