Junction/Kimball County Mile marker 466

Junction, TexasDec 22, 20121 Comments

Was returning to Austin at night from working out of town. Speed limit is 80. Was doing 75. I was told I was doing 92 which is complete bullocks. It pushed the ticket to the next price range (of course). It was female cop and she had a really bad attitude – kind of like Don Knotts on steriods. She was probably the rudest cop I have ever encoutered. My co-worker is hispanic (and was a passenger) and she had him pull his license. She treated him like a second class citizen. It was humilating the questions she put him through. The man is an outstanding citizen. Obviously, this was not about safety! She also made it a point to look at all vehicle stickers – which tells me that this was not about safety either but rather about a total money grab. My advice to all whom read this is to boycott Junction /Kimball county businesses and to email elected officials about the questionable police practices/speed trap until this money grab stops.

Comments:
Your story lost all credibility when you said you were returning to Austin. No body in Austin can tell the truth and will not take responsibility for their own actions.
