Junipero Serra Boulevard near Clay Avenue

San Francisco, CaliforniaApr 11, 20080 Comments

Heading northbound on Junipero Serra boulevard as you pass king drive intersection is a downhill. There is a cross street below a pedestrian bridge called Clay Ave. There’s usually a cop in an SUV or patrol car aiming radar at you. Speed limit is 50 mph but you’ll easily exceed that because of your forward momentum downhill. By the time you approach Clay Ave. at the bottom portion of the hill it may be too late when you see the marked unit. They don’t cut you any breaks here by lowering your speed vs. posted limit, on your ticket. Be careful. Another duckpond for SSF PD.
