*Read carefully please – I see this trap in action almost every time in Downtown Hampton* – Very specific speed trap in Downtown Hampton: Moreover on Sunday Mornings and Afternoons (but could be anytime) – Hampton Police will sit poised in a little, little strip of street that sets diagonal to Settlers Landing Road on the Northbound side (heading toward Hampton University). The little piece of street is very close to the intersection of Settler’s Landing Road and North/South Armistead Avenue (landmarks: Walgreen’s, 7-Eleven, and a BP). Heading toward Hampton University, be cognizant of cops in the little diagonal strip off to the side beyond residences and after clearing the intersection ALL THE WAY THROUGH DOWNTOWN HAMPTON for it is a strict 25 mph zone.
