Speed of 20 during school as well as cell phone usage is closely monitored. Mortorcycle cops with cruisers monitor both North and South bound traffic. They hide in driveways and near church south of Crooked Lane.

Comments:
We received a ticket on Kimble and Dove for doing 40 in a 30 2exits down on carol street although we left Lowe's on Kimble 5 minutes prior (had time stamp receipt} . Not only was we nowhere near Carrol or at no time that day had we been there. The cop had lights and sirens on when we turn right on dove street. He gave us a ticket, and also attempted to give us an insurance ticket all the time holding a valid Insurance card in his hand. I brought that to his attention and he marked it out. He was rude hateful and very unprofessional. We went to court and the DA chose to pursue it anyways. We were told we could fight it but there was a (Quote: 1 in 1000 chance of winning but it would double the fine plus lawyer fees and court cost because in South lake the uniform is the law. If the police are the type of people in South lake Texas, I would rather be poor rather than snobs. Even the younger locals warn us if we they give tickets for anything and the court system is unfair and YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN A Fair chance there so don't waste your time. Even if it's along ways around DON"T GO THROUGH OR DO BUSINESS IN SOUTH LAKE TEXAS. There's no justice there.
