King Road near between Dorr Street and Central Avenue, and between Central Avenue and Sylvania Avenue Road
near Dorr Street, the Highway Patrol and/or Springfield police sit with lights out in the parking lots of Dorr Street school. Between Bancroft St and Central Avenue, Highway Patrol and/or Sylvania police sit in parking lot of Family Video and in driveway of community church on east side of King Rd,lights out. From Central Ave to Sylvania, police sit in parking lots of various business establishments on both sides of the road. Speed is 35mph, 20 during school hours. Most tickets reqire court appearances.

Springfield does not have an independent police department, their coverage is provided by the Lucas County Sheriff's Office and they do not run traffic during patrol. Sylvania Township Police only runs traffic upon the request of it's citizens in response to complaints. So this is definitely not a speed trap.
